Aloha – Kapa’a has been my home since 1989. I have been painting in oils on canvas since 2009, and more recently have been exploring mixed media/collage. My art reflects the beauty of Kaua’i as I see it. My challenge and joy is to reproduce the rich colors of the plants and flowers, birds and fish and the spectacular landscapes found here. Many of my subjects are easily recognizable, such as plumerias, orchids and hibiscus, ti plants and crotons, nene, cattle egrets and roosters being among my favorites. My prints and note cards are printed locally and I package them with care. I am a member of Kauai Made and Kauai Society of Artists.
Every Wednesday, I display my prints and note cards at the Princeville Makai Music and Art Festival, from 1-5PM. Look for my tent next to the musicians’ stage.
In Lihue, stop by Alakoko on Kress St. where you will find my note cards and prints. Art can be ordered and shipped from their website, as well.
Hawaiian Artisans gallery, located at the Coconut Marketplace, carries my matted prints, and if you are in Hanapepe, visit Pu’uwai Gallery, where you can see my originals, cards and prints. Thank you for your interest in my work.
