Lawakua Leis

Aloha, Lawakua Leis was established February 2023 in order to provide the island of Kaua’i with affordable sandalwood and pikake jewelry. All products are made within my home in Wailua under the beauty of the sleeping giant and overlooking the majestic Wailua Bay. Inspired by the simplicity of the old days when our grandmothers, aunts and moms donned themselves with the elements. The pikake beads used are replicas of Princess Ka’iulani’s favorite flower which she named after the peacock. While sandalwood has been used for many things including calming of the mind. Mixed together they create a beautiful medley that will sing a song of old. Custom orders are welcomed!
