Besdee Dog Co. is a Kauaʻi-based dog care brand designed for everyday life with dogs. Our products are made with clean, purposeful ingredients selected for effectiveness, safety, and minimal environmental impact, so they work beautifully for dogs everywhere while being mindful of the place they’re made.
Based in Līhuʻe, every Besdee formula is developed in-house by founder Allison, a local nurse with a science background who personally formulates each product. Nothing is white-labeled. Every ingredient is chosen intentionally, tested thoroughly, and used because it truly works—whether the goal is cleaning, soothing, deodorizing, or protecting a dog’s skin and coat.
Besdee is a family-run business. Allison’s husband, who is part Hawaiian, is an active part of the company, and their children attend local Hawaiian language immersion schools. Respect for culture, ʻāina, and community isn’t branding—it’s how the family lives, and it guides how the business operates.
Whenever possible, Besdee sources locally and designs products to reduce waste through refillable and low-plastic formats. We believe caring for our dogs and caring for the island should go hand in hand.
