National Tropical Botanical Garden (a not-for-profit Science, Conservation & Educational Organization) proudly offers over 50 handmade products, all created on Kauai by a collaborative group of artisan volunteers.

The NTBG volunteer artisan group has been traditionally known as "Oshibana" for their work using local dried flower material to create pictures of natural elements. Over the past 30 years, their creativity has expanded to include silk dying, oil painting, wood burning, and several fabric products created by accomplished seamstresses. From decorative gourds to swimsuit cover-ups, NTBG volunteers create a variety of affordable pieces that are all one of a kind.

The artisan volunteers use reclaimed and recycled materials whenever possible. Much of their fabric is donated, their creativity allows for upcycling of former fancy table napkins turned into a beach hat (for example). Every piece is as colorful and unique as you are.

Proceeds from all sales go directly to the National Tropical Botanical Garden a 501-c3 NGO.
