Robbrecht Troost Pottery

I use a porcelaneous high-fired clay to make my handmade vessels and then glaze them using crystaline formulated glazes. These are my own recipes using Zinc-oxide as the main ingredient growing Zinc-Orthosilicate crystals at around 2000 degrees fahrenheit. They are all functional and of course are waterproof. Different oxides like cobalt, copper, manganese and iron give the different colors effect. Are all inspired by the beauty of Kauai.
