Our main focus is to generate a revival of Kōnane in the Hawaiian Islands. Hawaiian Checkers.com provides Kōnane products as well as workshops and tournament management to support our goals.

Ancient Hawaiians regarded Kōnane as more than just a game. The strategic and analytical skills required to be a successful Kōnane player were useful in both war and peace.

Early missionaries disapproved of Kōnane. As a result, Kōnane remains mostly unknown in Hawaii today.
