As a potter I am motivated by the desire to create functional and decorative ceramics, often called “domestic ware” for the home and personal use. My aesthetic in ceramics is to achieve a balance of form, function and beauty that are held in equal measure. I enjoy making functional items that you will enjoy holding, using, and displaying in your home.
Most of my work is in stoneware or porcelain, is wheel thrown, and glazed with lead free, food safe glazes, my work is fired to 2300F, thus achieving a durable coating that protects and strengthens the piece. All my pieces can be used in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher safely.
I welcome custom orders and inquiries and my home studio and showroom are accessible by appointment.
